Every pound you raise through donations and fundraising is used to enhance the projects we currently run to help support our local service users. Making a financial donation is the quickest and easiest way to do this.
Online donations
You can make a secure donation by credit/debit card right now by clicking here.
We use an external site called Smartgive to process donations securely and efficiently. There is a small administration fee, but unlike many of the online donation websites, this is charged to the donator, not to the charity!
Donations by post
You may also send cheques to us by post. Please make cheques payable to East Berkshire Mind Ltd and send to the head office address listed on the Contacts page.
Please send your cheque with the donation form which you can download here.
Increase the value of your donation through Gift Aid
If you make a donation and also pay tax, East Berkshire Mind can claim the tax back again from the Inland Revenue. When making a donation online or by post, please tick the ‘giftaid it’ box if you are eligible, to turn every £1 of your donation into £1.28! For more information on giftaid, visit the Directgov website for a ‘user friendly’ explanation.

Goods and resources
We welcome other donations such as goods and resources you have to offer. Please contact the head office if you would like to support East Berkshire Mind in this way.
Company support
We welcome the support of companies, clubs and organisations. Your help will raise awareness of mental health issues whilst also promoting your public image of an organisation which supports and cares for its local community. Your organisation can help East Berkshire Mind by:
- Nominating us as your Charity of the Year
- Providing sponsorship
- Launching a payroll giving scheme so that your employees may make donations.
- Holding fundraising events. Click here for more ideas.
- Offering us special rates (or freebies!) for your services, such as printing or kitchen, office or gardening equipment.
- Requesting a training course or presentation to your staff regarding looking after your mental health in the workplace.
Click on the work and training service page for more information on this.
Leave a lasting legacy
If you are thinking about making or changing your will, you can leave a legacy to East Berkshire Mind. All charitable gifts and legacies are currently exempt from inheritance tax. Alternatively you may wish to request that family and friends make donations to East Berkshire Mind when you die.
East Berkshire Mind wishes to thank all our supporters for their contributions.
