How we are funded

Although most of our funding comes from local government and European grants, we still need to raise sums of money ourselves to enhance our services. We are affiliated to the national mental health charity, Mind, which provides support through ‘help and guidance on key organisational matters, such as ensuring an effective structure, and on providing the highest quality mental health support services’. We therefore welcome the support of the individuals and companies to ensure that we can continue to provide the services offered by East Berkshire Mind. There are a number of ways that you can help us by either donating your money, goods/resources or time. If you are interested in volunteering, making a donation or holding a fundraising event, please click on the links to the left.

Where the money goes

Recent donations have gone towards the following facilities:

• The purchase of a van for the Mind the Plants social firm has allowed volunteers to transport gardening equipment and carry out gardening jobs for the Carers Assistance Voucher Scheme and at the Cherry Orchard Allotment.
